Dry Type Drum Magnetic Separator
Dry type drum magnetic separator is a kind of automatic separator that can continuously remove ir-on particles from the dry fine materials. Rare earth permanent magnetic material are adopted to generate magnetic field, the field is distributed in peripheral direction around the drum body, and formi-ng some degrees(120°-200°,standard design is 175°),the high gradient field is generated outside the SS drum which can effectively remove the iron, scrap iron, ferric oxide & other ferromagnetic materials. When materials falling to the rotating drum, the paramagnetic particles are attracted by the drum surface through the strong magnetic force and rotating with the drum, then they are carried to the non-magnetic area, under the gravity & centrifugal force, they will be casted into the iron collecting box, whilst the nonmagnetic materials will be falling to the outlet bucket, thus the aim of removing paramagnetic particles from the nonmagnetic particles is fulfilled.
